How We Protect Your Personal Information

The Group understands that storing data in a secure manner is essential. The Group stores personal information and other data using reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to secure data against foreseeable risks, such as unauthorized use, access, disclosure, destruction, or modification. Although we make good-faith efforts to store the information we collect in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security. Further, while we work to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegally obtaining this information.

How Long We Keep It

We will store your Personal Data (i) as long as is necessary to process your Personal Data for the purposes mentioned above, and as long as the legal basis applies, (ii) as long as you make use of our services and have not deleted your account, and a legal basis and purpose applies for the processing, or (iii) as long as we are legally obliged to store your Personal Data.

European Data Privacy Information

The Group companies are the data controllers under the Data Privacy Laws. This European Data Privacy Information section applies to residents in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the UK who purchase our products and/or use our services, or who otherwise are resident in these territories, and whose personal information is used by the Group for commercial purposes, and also to other customers or prospective customers of our European affiliates.

Under the GDPR, you have certain rights to make requests regarding your Personal Data, which are all subject to the exemptions and qualification under the Data Privacy Laws. You have the right to ensure your personal information is accurate; we request that you let us know if your personal information changes. You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information (although we will still need to process your personal data during the duration of the contract and beyond for legal purposes). You have the right to access a copy of your personal information (this is limited to information that is your personal information only, not to the underlying document or remaining information, and subject to the exemptions and qualifications under the Data Privacy Laws). You have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data. However, in certain circumstances where we rely on legitimate interests, we may still be able to process your Personal Data, if we have compelling grounds to do so. If you wish to raise a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, you can contact us, and we will investigate the matter and respond to you promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, or if you prefer not to engage with us first, you can complain to any applicable data privacy authority in your country of residence. When we do so, we transfer the information in compliance with applicable data protection laws. In particular, we have implemented safeguards in the form of standard contractual clauses as adopted and amended by the implementing decision of the European Commission 2021/914.

We also may use a third-party verification provider to verify your identity.

 Full Version

This Cookie Notice relates to Blue Inc USA (“we”, “us”, or “our”), and our use and protection of your Personal Data that we process via the cookies on our websites and our mobile applications (together, our “websites”). This Cookie Notice applies to the Personal Data we collect on our websites.

The protection of your privacy and Personal Data is of utmost importance to us. What are cookies?

A cookie is a simple text file that is stored on your computer or mobile device by a website’s server. Each cookie is unique to your web browser. It will contain some anonymous information, such as a unique identifier and the website name, and some digits and numbers. It allows a website to remember things like who you are, your preferences, or what is in your shopping cart. Most websites you visit will use cookies in order to improve your user experience by enabling that website to “remember” you. To learn more about cookies, visit All About Cookies.

In addition to traditional cookies, Blue Inc USA uses other tracking technologies, such as JavaScript snippets and webservice calls, to provide a tailored experience for users, and monitor user website activities.

How long do cookies last?

Cookies last for different lengths of time, depending on what they are used for: Session cookies are temporary cookies, and are only stored until you leave the website, or you close your web browser. Persistent cookies last for a fixed period of time, defined within the cookie, and allow the website to recognize your device again, when you return to that website on that device. This allows us to give you a more personalized web experience in line with your preferences, for example, language preferences.

Who sets cookies?

First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting, and can only be read by that website. Third-party cookies are set by an organization other than the operator of the website. This might be for the purposes of website measurement, to allow a third-party service on the website to operate, or to target or deliver advertising.

Which cookies do we use, why and how do we use them?

Our websites use a range of first- and third-party cookies that enable us to offer an enhanced, personalized experience. The information stored in cookies falls into the following categories:

Targeting Cookies

These cookies track preferences and user paths throughout the websites. These cookies do not identify an individual personally, but are used to deliver targeted content that would be more relevant, based on those preferences. We will only store this type of cookie on your device if you give your consent. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.
